“ Ahgassi Gopchang has been a staple of Koreatown for a long time, being the sister restaurant of the famous Kang Ho Dang (Baekjeong). What's special about Ahgassi Gopchang is their offering of an assorment of intestines. They have two different combo set options for intestine bbq lovers. If you don't like intestines, don't worry they have reguar beef kbbq options!! The sides are always super fresh and tasty, definitely some of the better offerings at korean bbq. They also have really good side options, such as their spicy cold noodles! At the end, they'll make you kimchi fried rice if you fancy (included)! Ambiance is cute - it has a classic vibe with wood furnishings, also nicer than some of the more hole in the wall KBBQ spots. Definitely recommend coming here early to avoid long waits during the weekend! ”
“ i finally had the time to try ahgassi gopchang and it did not disappoint. i came around 2pm and my group ordered the large ahgassi combo. we accidentally were cooking the first dish on our own after our server left but realized that they would be cooking every meat for us. the service was phenomenal and the server frequently checked up on the meat and everything. each aspect of the combo was appetizing and filling enough. i recommend coming here for lunch as dinner can get pretty crowded. parking is also conveniently in the back for $4. ”
“ I've been here three times and the first time was pretty good but the 2nd time was great so I'm rounding to the five star mark because I would definitely come back and recommend to friends. Known for their intestines but the quality of the other meat pieces are very good too. We always get the intestines here and it's never failed us. The fried rice they make at the end in the meat oil is chef's kiss too. We also like the beef tongue and rib fingers here! Servers are running all over the place depending on busy but generally, they are watching out for your meat cooking process and do it for you. This most recent 3rd time was still good, but only thing lacking for the staff attentiveness for cooking. So this can be a hit or miss. Good banchan selection and ingredients are always fresh! ”
“ Best KBBQ spot in town. Everything about this restaurant is great! All their meats are fresh and they only have the best quality side dishes. Ask the staff are super friendly and fast with taking orders. Can get crowded at times but if you go a bit earlier than dinner you can beat the rush. ”
“ Got the New marinated meats combo in the small. I usually enjoy pork cuts but this combo had beef as well. The beef cuts were more tasty than the pork. Nice way to try the other cuts would definitely not do this next time. Some cuts were so dry and chewy. Got the tofu spicy soup and it tasted like instant noodle soup base, good but wish I got the soy bean soup. The large intestines was not smelly and was very fatty! ”
